I Painted the Hallway

This is probably not going to be the most exciting post in the world. . . just saying.  Here is my hallway in all of its hallway-like-gloriousness.  More photos after the break.

I decided to paint this door a happy yellow.  We leave this door open to the grey side most of the time, so its like a little surprise when you actually close it.

This is the side you usually see from the living room.

There’s not a lot of free wall space in this hallway, so this is the only piece of art I have up.  So far I’m loving my house painted bright white.  It can seem a bit much on bright sunny days, but when its cloudy and grey outside it feels so right.

How do you spice up your hallway?  Anything you think I should try?
