Next up in our week of peony arrangements: peonies in a mason jar. You could just cut 5 or so peonies and pop them in a mason jar, but strategically placed greenery bumps it up to the next level.
You will need:
- Ferns, or some other broad leafed greenery. Juniper cuttings would work well.
- A more vertical greenery
- 5 Peonies
- Mason Jar
To start, clean up your greenery.
Pro tip: When you collect your cuttings from your backyard, give them a little time to sit. More of the bugs will make their way off your cuttings, instead of doing so in your house.
Arrange the ferns first, as they are your base layer.
Plop in your peonies.
Fill in any gaps with your vertical greenery.
Enjoy your beautiful arrangement!
