Have you ever had a really big dream that wouldn’t go away? All my life I have been obsessed with houses. Decorating them, building them with lego and, looking for hours on realtor.ca with no intention to buy.
This fall a house came on the market in our dream neighbourhood at an amazing price. The catch? It was super ugly and needed some love.
The next stretch of days to renovate it finally here!!! (Can you tell I’m excited?!). Today went much smoother than last time, and the Hermit took Dominic out for the morning, so I had the house to myself for three hours.
This week’s mission is to finish as much of the kitchen as possible. I’m almost done painting the cabinets, and I’ve started on some of the walls.
Mmm. . . citrus. Who doesn’t love the fresh taste and beautiful colours of citrus fruits? Here are 10 of my favourite recipes that use limes, oranges, grapefruits, or lemons. Let me know your favourite one!
A couple of you have been asking how the renovation is going, and I realized that I never actually posted what I got accomplished during the 4 day marathon, and bits and pieces of time since. It’s far more fun to post the trials and tribulations! It’s still looking pretty bare as we are not fully moved in yet, and the floors still need to be refinished.
